The Colleges of Medicine and Health Sciences (QU CMHS) project features a contemporary façade designed with fibre cement flat sheets, combining durability, fire safety, and architectural performance. The exterior walls incorporate Equitone Tectiva fibre cement panels, a through-coloured material known for its natural texture and refined architectural appearance.
The panels feature a white textured surface with subtle tonal variations, fine sanding lines, and natural characteristics that enhance the visual depth of the building envelope. Manufactured from 100% non-asbestos fibre cement, the façade boards are treated with hydrophobation technology to prevent moisture ingress and ensure long-term durability.
The project forms part of Qatar University’s Health Campus, integrating teaching, research, and administration facilities for the colleges of medicine, health sciences, and pharmacy within a collaborative academic environment.
